A New York man accused of robbing a FedEx in Washington Twp. before trying to flee with a getaway driver has pleaded guilty.

Miguel Antonio Bodre, 20, entered a guilty plea to one count of robbery in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court on Thursday. A theft charge was dismissed, according to court records.

Bodre is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 21.

On Halloween Bodre reportedly pushed a FedEx delivery driver on Ashel Court and grabbed a package. He tried to flee in a getaway car, but deputies were able to intercept him and a second man, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Bodre and his co-defendant, 23-year-old Luis Emilio Paula-Jimenez, were both taken into custody.

Paula-Jimenez, also of New York, is facing one count each of complicity to commit robbery and complicity to commit theft, according to court records. His trial is scheduled for Jan. 27.
